On the evening of January 13th 2021, the Portuguese Prime Minister laid out the exact measures that would encompass a 2-week second lockdown caused by Covid-19 in our country.

What concerns our clients, and moreover those coming in the next month with confirmed SEF appointments, the government assured the continuation of those public offices and would honour “already-made” previous appointments.  

Banks, notary offices and tax administration offices will all be open. Offices are urged to promote teleworking practices from home.

So, business-as-usual for our IAS team of lawyers and back-up staff who will strive to offer continuous support to our clients and partners while complying with the law.
